Day2-Amazing basalt columns next to Mealt falls-when the new car park is finished

Quiraing

Day2-Amazing views from landslip that is the Quiraing with time for a wee wander along one of the trails

Skye Museum of Island Life

Day2-Learn how people lived on Skye in the best preserved examples of traditional 'blackhouses' on Skye and the importance of animals to the islanders living. Great cafe and gift shop here too.

Portree

End of Day1-Capital of Skye, Portree is our base for the next few days and has an abundance of cafes, restaurants, bars and craft shops as well as the stunning views around the harbour

Fairy Pools

Day 3-early morning depart Portree for a lovely walk across to the world famous fairy pools and if you are brave, a swim! If there is heavy rain access may not be possible in which case an alternative will be tried.

Achnasheen

Lunch at the amazing 'Midge Bite Cafe' with spectacular views

Highland Folk Museum

Depending on time-see how the locals lived in full size replices of houses from different periods. The 1750 blackhouse was the set for filming on Season 1 of Outlander's 'Rent' episode.

Portree

End of Day2-Back to Portree for the dinner and exploring.
